Access Direct Management Analyst

Responsibilities

The Royal Bank of Scotland N.V. (RBS N.V.) seeks an Access Direct Management Analyst for its Chicago, IL location.
Duties: Utilize expert knowledge of business systems and the payments industry to function as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST engaged in developing, designing and implementing end-to-end operational process solutions for the Bank's international payments processes and associated departments. Serve as designated expert for issues regarding the Bank's proprietary international payments system. Conduct organizational studies within the international payments processing department, gathering, organizing, and analyzing data to develop and design payment process solutions for businesses to operate more efficiently and effectively. Interview and observe business partners and current processes to ascertain business and user requirements, and translate requirements into operational systems and draft process documentation. Coordinate team engaged in functional testing of processes, comprised of consultants and employees distributed across global centers. Oversee operational design activities relating to new processes and enhancements to existing processes, and drive quality assurance throughout the process, ensuring that appropriate improvements are developed to meet business needs. Prepare manuals and train users on new payment system processes, according to Bank policy. Manage planning, training, test case review, and test case execution activities, using industry-standard technologies to facilitate testing to ensure developed operational processes meet user requirements and company standards (Quality Center, Test Director, TD Manager, Win Runner, TOAD, Oracle DB, and SQL language). Ensure successful functioning of newly implemented international payment processes and systems in accordance with market standard and country-specific payment, acknowledgement, and statement formats for European payment traffic and SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area).
 

Qualifications

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or related, followed by 5 years of progressive experience as a Consultant, Project Lead, Business Analyst or related. Full term of required experience must be post-baccalaureate and progressively responsible and must involve development and implementation of operational processes related to international payments processing, including identification of business and user requirements, drafting of operational processes and related documentation, and management of functional testing team to ensure functionality and quality of developed processes, utilizing Quality Center, Test Director, TD Manager, Win Runner, TOAD, Oracle DB, and SQL language to manage process testing activities. Two years of the required experience must involve use of market standard and country-specific payment, acknowledgement, and statement formats for European payment traffic and SEPA.
