<description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>The Lean Sustainability Manager is responsible for putting in place a set of Continuous Improvement elements before, during and after a Lean transformation to ensure sustainability of Lean changes and lasting impact. He/she is also responsible for setting up and refining the overall governance and structure of the Lean practice throughout the waves. Accountable for delivery and coordination of post-transformation audits until process confirmation is fully embedded in the business line. Own and maintain audit tools. Customize and syndicate tools to be used to audit business areas impacted by upcoming waves.<br/><br/>Coordinate with Lean teams on the ground to tailor audit sheets, questionnaires and procedures towards the end of each wave and project. Coordinate execution of audits. Identify pool of auditors (ex- Lean Leaders) and establish auditor certification system. Send auditors to assess Lean maturity against RBS standards until process confirmation is embedded in the line. Identify cross-functional and lateral/systemic issues coming out of the audits. Collate audit results and outputs from different projects across waves, divisions and business units. Confirm that Continuous Improvement (CI) and Process Ownership teams are in place post transformation. Coordinate creation of process owners post transformation through engagement with line leadership. Facilitate setup of end to end budgets and ensure appropriate funding is in place, as well as end to end working sessions in coordination with Continuous Improvement teams.<br/><br/>Participate in initial end-to-end working sessions (until process is stabilized). Design controls for data that is sourced into and out of the RDP. Perform lineage on key Basel data elements from source to RDP to outbound feed to RBS. Join a team that is leading the peer segments in retail banking channels. <br/><br/>RBS Citizens’ Technology Services America division is looking for a talented and highly motivated individual for a Senior MQ, Message Broker, Datapower Administrator to support the implementation of various middleware applications. <br/><br/>Primary Function:<br/><br/><br>The Senior MQ, Message Broker and Datapower Administrator will be responsible for the Design, Customization, Implementation and support of robust, secure, scalable Middleware systems on AIX, Linux, Solaris and Windows platforms.<br/><br/><br> <br/><br/><br>Responsibilities/Duties:<br/><br/><br>Integrate simple to moderately complex MQ, Message Broker, Datapower, Java/J2EE, WebServices applications into DEV, QA and Production environments. These applications can be a combination of in-house developed applications or vendor-delivered applications. Typical application deployment to include MQ Message Broker install, queue configuration, Datapower configuration, broker configuration, EAR and BAR file deployment, database connectivity, and troubleshooting.<br/><br/>Provide PROD On-Call support for applications once they go-live.<br/><br/><br>Has input into department policies and procedures<br/><br/>Maintains status of project responsibilities<br/><br/><br>Facilitates in planning, estimating, and reviewing tasks for application based activities<br/><br/><br>Able to review requirements and evaluate risks/benefits for a low to moderate impact project<br/><br/>Able to prepare implementation plan and contingency plan for supported applications for low to moderate impact projects<br/><br/><br>Must participate actively in weekly project meetings and provide input/task updates to project team.<br/><br/><br>Able to develop a mid-size project plan with low to moderate impact projects using standard project management software<br/><br/><br>Identifies risk areas and implements preventative measures<br/><br/><br>Provides technical supervision on small projects.<br/><br/>Able to work across functional teams to achieve group goals.<br/><br/><br>Identifies and resolves technical issues and communicates to the team<br/><br/><br>Helps to define objectives for the  team, working well with CSG teams and external group teams<br/><br/><br>Enhances team productivity by helping others<br/><br/>Formulate and enforce application deployment and integration standards<br/><br/>Writes conclusive e-mails when resolving issues with the user community.<br/><br/><br>Writes comprehensive DAD documents.<br/><br/>On occasion, addresses a small group on a technical subject or presents a demonstration of a system.<br/><br/><br>On occasion, runs a project level meeting.<br/><br/>Addresses and resolves routine issues (contact/escalate to vendor through Helpdesk or agreed upon problem resolution methodology)<br/><br/><br>Coordinates activities with vendor personnel (vendor presentations, site visits, prepare for installations, etc.)<br/><br/>Uses fact finding techniques and analytic tools to identify problems<br/><br/><br>Takes a systematic approach to problem solving<br/><br/><br>Looks beneath the surface to identify root cause<br/><br/><br>Recognizes the need to escalate problems to needs.<br/><br/><br>Effectively documents solutions<br/><br/><br>Ensures knowledge transfer to work group/project peers<br/>  <br/><br/>Qualifications <br/><br/>The Senior MQ, Message Broker, Datapower Administrator will have the following qualifications:<br/><br/>Typical Minimum Education:  Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent<br/><br/><br>Typical Minimum Experience:  Minimum 5 years experience<br/><br/>Technical: <br/><br/><br>• Solid understanding of the following technologies: WebSphere MQ 6.0, WebSphere MQ 7.0, Message Broker 6.0, Message Broker 6.1, Message Broker 7.0, Datapower XI50, Message Broker Toolkit, SSL, AIX, Linux, Solaris, Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP Professional, FTP, SMTP, Version management – PVCS, CVS, VSS.<br/><br/><br>• A firm understanding of web application coding utilizing Java, J2EE, and WebServices.<br/><br/><br>• Experience with PERL, UNIX Shell Scripting, JACL/Jython and Python, VB Scripting.<br/><br/><br>• Strong experience with connectivity issues related to Microsoft SQL, Oracle, DB2 databases and the ability to understand complex SQL Stored Procedures.<br/><br/><br>• Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Tools.<br/><br/><br>• Expertise with full software development life cycle including functional & technical specification, documentation, QA processes, source control, maintenance and deployments.<br/><br/><br>• Experienced in MQ, Message Broker Installation, configuration, upgrades<br/><br/><br>• Experienced in queue cluster set up, configuration and management, configuring data sources, repositories, system and server log analysis and trouble shooting, performance tuning, security management, DQE and MQ cluster configuration, MQ Error log and FDC analysis and troubleshooting, Security management (including SSL), Message Broker Flow Deployments, EAR and BAR file deployments.<br/><br/><br>• Must have a firm understanding of concepts and technologies such as SOA, Messaging, Transformation Engines, Web Services, and Data Integration techniques.<br/><br/><br>• Experience with a testing tools such as RFHUTIL, JUnit, Load Runner, SOAP UI, and XMLSPY.<br/><br/><br>• DataPower Appliance Administration is required.<br/><br/><br>• WSRR knowledge is an add-on plus.<br/><br/><br>• Experience with high availability solutions such as hardware load balancers, content switching, application clustering, and Oracle RAC is a plus.<br/><br/><br>• Experience with Web Services, SOAP and XML<br/><br/><br>• Experience with build and deployment automation<br/><br/><br>• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to mentor others.<br/><br/><br>• Background in financial services or banking environment, and familiarity with regulatory and technology risk requirements preferred<br/><br/>Knowledge: <br/><br/><br>• Full life-cycle implementation experience (requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing).<br/><br/><br>• Experience with the setup, management, security, and optimization of IBM MQ and IBM Message Broker on AIX, LINUX, Windows servers.<br/><br/><br>• Good <title><![CDATA[Solution Architect I - (Cranston, Rhode Island)]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>As a Senior Support Architect you will be responsible for providing direction and architecture guidance to build an enterprise wide data warehouse project.  The individual will be also responsible for supporting the full ETL project lifecycle pre and post production.  The roles will help to identify opportunities for employing best practices in data, identifying aligned strategies for the delivery of data warehouse, and delivering systems integration to improve operational efficiencies in the organization while building agility into the portfolio of solutions.<br/><br/>The Senior Support Architect will also become the subject matter expert on various projects in which he or she is the support lead.
