The Recruiting Manager is responsible for managing all facets of recruiting activity for assigned business lines. This includes leading and coaching a team of recruiters, building and maintaining relationships with senior and executive level management of the organization up to and including Executive Vice-Presidents, develop and execute recruiting plans, provide internal and external market intelligence to ensure competitive advantages to deliver recruiting strategy and hire internal/external candidates, typically management and executive level through the use of effective marketing and sales orientation to identify key talent pools, source, qualifies the candidates against the LCF competencies.
Description of Function:
Management – Provide ongoing leadership to team of recruiters including coaching, recognitions, performance management, training, development, work allocation and communication on business updates. Manage team to established compliance standards.
Client relationships – Build and develop excellent working relationships with client and key stakeholders to develop thorough understanding of business plans to identify resourcing requirements. Attend team meetings as appropriate to understand business drivers and plans.
Recruiting Strategy – Recommend strategy to meet business staffing plans. Provide consultancy in in support of business change. Develop understanding of workforce planning and demand to assimilate resources to meet the current and future need.
Staffing – Use effective marketing and sales orientation to identify key talent pools, source, qualify candidates against established competencies and hire internal and external candidates, typically management and executive level roles.
Other – Participate and/or lead projects to drive positive change, participate in initiatives and programs to provide enhanced team engagement, etc.
Role interacts with Recruiting team, business line managers, HR Stakeholders and applicants/candidates for positions. Additional contact with agencies/vendors as appropriate.
Effective recruitment is important in achieving high organizational performance, mitigating risk, and minimizing company turnover.
This role is responsible for the Retail West Division with clients and recruiters operating across the footprint, therefore some travel will be required.
Bachelor Degree required
Strong partnership and influencing skills – creativity to leverage resources needed to respond to clients needs.
Strong coaching/management skills.
Successful experience utilizing a variety of recruiting resources.
Proven recruiting strategy development and execution.
Experience with a Applicant Tracking Systems
Competent interviewer who has practice in various interview techniques
Proven success in identifying areas to further investigate during the interview and drawing out further details
Application of a variety of recruitment, attraction, selection tools and methodologies
Knowledge of process and data integrity requirements in an Applicant Tracking System
General knowledge of recruitment policies and practices
Knowledge of applicable Employment Laws including Diversity Legislation, FLSA, VEVRAA, etc.
