<description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/> Serve as a visible market leader and presence in the Private Equity (“PE”) finance community, bringing long and deep relationships with PE firms. <br/> - Raise the stature of RBSC in the PE finance market and contribute to the establishment of the Sponsor Finance business.<br/><br/><br>- Lead the relationship initiation and relationship expansion activities focusing on PE firms in a designated market for the purpose of primarily leading, and as necessary, participating in new and existing portfolio company financings. <br/> - Ensure RBSC becomes a preferred partner for targeted PE firms.<br/><br/><br>- As a player/ coach, the candidate would share wisdom and knowledge across the team, focused on helping build the business.  The candidate would help recruit other SF professionals to the group.<br/><br/><br>- Establish and execute a sales and service strategy, within the PE marketplace, to achieve the Group’s transactional and revenue growth, relationship expansion, credit quality, and customer service goals and objectives.<br/><br/><br>- Present quality idea generating proposals to the PE client and prospect base and follow up as required. <br/> - Negotiate critical financing structural elements with client.  Interact with risk/portfolio management to ensure that appropriate credit and market risks are Identified and addressed.<br/><br/><br>- Demonstrate good credit judgment.<br/> - Interact well with key product partners, especially Capital Markets.<br/> - Maintain effective license to operate by sustaining a high level of trust and confidence by senior line and risk management.<br/>  <br/><br/>Qualifications <br/><br/>10-15 years of leveraged finance experience, primarily transacted with PE firms.
