<description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>The Business Banking Officer will solicit the business of small businesses with up to $5M in annual revenue in a defined territory. The BBO will collaborate with branch staff, along with the use networking and referral activities, to identify small business prospects.<br/> Solicits new Business Banking customers in assigned territory (extensive travel required), utilizing sales profiling process to identify needs and make product recommendations to prospects. <br/> Maintains high level of product knowledge and service and works effectively with assigned branches and internal Business Partners to generate leads.<br/><br/><br>Contact customers and prospects as required to schedule sales appointments.<br/> Effectively use all the tools to acquire new business relationships, including cold calling and participation in local and community activities.<br/> Utilize the DRIVE sales activities to identify customer needs and manage the sales process.
