Responsibilities
This position reports to the Change & Project Management organization within C&BB Sales and Service Support.
The Project Manager will be assigned to high visibility and challenging projects supporting various business lines within the division. Working with business sponsors, subject matter experts and technology resources, this position is accountable for developing the necessary project plans, schedules, budgets, presentations and documentation to ensure the successful delivery of project requirements and business benefits. Leading the project team, the Project Manager continuously reviews the status of projects and provides updates to the Program Manager and other key stakeholders. This is achieved through routine monitoring of the project budgets and timelines, the coordination of project meetings, and the preparation of status reports and documents through the use of computerized systems and project management software applications. This resource also identifies opportunities for continuous improvement in the project delivery process within the division.
Develop plans for business processes, automation, work flow and training changes required to achieve project goals. Develops and fulfills project reporting requirements. Leads project team towards achieving predetermined goals and results in alignment with the organization’s stated strategy. Develops and/or modifies project design specifications in accordance with prevailing Bank standards and audit requirements. Organizes, documents and implements/oversees implementation of all phases of assigned projects to satisfy project requirements and achieve business goals. Investigates, documents and resolves project deficiencies and follows up to keep projects on schedule within plan constraints. Acts as internal and/or technical expert on project tasks or phases of large projects as well as meet training, communication and other implementation objectives as needed to ensure successful project execution. Evaluates assigned projects to validate benefits derived vis-à-vis predetermined goals and to assess opportunities for improvement in the project management process. Performs other related duties as required. Number of Employees Supervised : Individual contributor. Indirectly responsible for project team members.
Qualifications
Typically ten years experience in business administration, project administration, project management and team facilitation. Progressive experience in project design, scheduling, budgeting and implementation. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong knowledge of project management techniques such as scheduling of project modules, critical path, and adhering to project time-lines. Ability to lead and direct a group toward a defined goal. Must be self-motivated and self-managed with strong follow through on all phases of projects.
Technical Knowledge & Skills:
Must have demonstrated strong skills in project management. Must have strong organizational and planning skills. Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with project teams and multiple departments and vendors to achieve project objectives. Must have strong capability for meeting project time lines and budget requirements.
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
