Responsibilities

We are looking for a talented and motivated candidate to design and develop technology solutions for a growing portion of our business. These solutions will consist of a variety of custom built internal and external applications, integrating with various enterprise and vendor systems, to deliver new products and services to our customers.
Perform high level and detailed design and planning for complex business requirements spanning multiple enterprise systems. Leading detailed design efforts, architecting solutions, application development and overseeing development of custom components. Adhere to architecture standards, lead technical presentations and provide best practices regarding development and implementation options. Communicate effectively and appropriately to team members both up and down the organization, including business line, technical and vendors. Deliver distributed applications expertise and innovation to a distributed project team with varying experience and skill profiles. Mentor and provide oversight to project resources, including reviewing designs and performing code and vulnerability reviews. Contribute to project planning discussions, provide status updates for development progress and be a critical resource for issue resolution. Collaborate with peer team members to ensure a quality implementation Utilize industry best practices to ensure proper component integration testing, tuning and optimization. Build a core understanding of the entire solution, and support the implementation, roll out and subsequent releases. Provide third tier level support for business critical applications

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in designing and developing custom large-scale, web-based solutions using .Net and IIS on the Windows, leveraging relational databases and consuming web services. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience. Exposure to various application frameworks. Exposure to N-tier application design and development. Experience with Agile and Traditional SDLC processes Creating multi-threaded applications. Consuming and creation of web services. Solid understanding of web development and infrastructure best practices. UI design, mockup and prototyping Strong testing experience and practices (including unit testing, automation, load testing, etc.) Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience with mobile computing applications is a plus. Experience with web application infrastructure is a plus. Windows OS (2003/2008) and IIS (6/7) skills Scripting skills such as VBScript, JavaScript, or Perl ASP.NET, C#, VB.NET HTML, DHTML OLE/DB and ADO.NET SQL, T-SQL, PL-SQL XML, XSL, XSLT HTML5, CSS3 Native or Hybrid mobile solutions knowledge and experience is a plus (including Android, Java, iOS, Objective-C)

Hours per Week:   40

Work Schedule:    Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
