The P2P Business Support Project Manager will primarily coordinate the efforts of a team of 10 focused on the continued development and execution of the Compliant Purchasing ‘Center of Excellence’ based on a standard procure to pay process and facilitated by Oracle iProcurement and Purchasing. The Shared Services Compliant Purchasing activity will include oversight of the management of purchasing and payment risk, contract financials, and overall supply base management activity for each business across RBS Americas.
Responsibilities



Deliver and manage a world class procure to pay program.

Assure effective supply chain risk management and supply base rationalization in business line(s) evidenced by metrics.

Deliver streamlined purchasing processes and compliant purchasing channels that provide a high level of customer satisfaction and efficiency in order processing and customer support.

Provide excellent engagement with key business stakeholders to ensure services/support contributes added value/benefit to CFG.

Utilize appropriate project management processes and skills to provide a collaborative approach to delivery, liaising with program sponsors, effectively formulating plans and producing relevant reports and outputs at specific stages within the project lifecycle to evidence performance and successful completion.

Drive adherence to the Dealing With External Supply Policy across RBS Americas

Working with senior Business Partner stakeholders to develop a streamlined, and sometimes reengineered, purchasing processes for the business, creating efficiencies and value for the business

Development of Compliant Purchasing training content and toolkit built upon the value and principles of strategic Procurement to Payment and the Dealing with External Supply policy.

Development and execution of a training program that will be utilized to educate both the Procurement Services and Shared Services teams and the RBS Americas business.

Aligning the procurement to pay program to the contract management program and the Third Party Assurance program

Identify and manage the risk, minimizing the outcomes and escalating where appropriate. Ensure processes operate as designed. Key indications in place to ensure reliable, predictable and stable environment.



Qualifications

5+ years of previous experience in procure to pay program or project management.

An understanding of and experience working with web based applications.

Advanced knowledge of working Project Management disciplines and techniques as well as implementation experience of technical and non-technical projects.

Bachelors degree required

Master’s Degree preferred

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven negotiation skills

Strong process management skills

Strong resource management skills

Executive presentation experience

Advanced experience effectively prioritize and execute tasks

Experience adapting in a changing environment

The Sourcing Group Manager will be responsible for:
Developing and executing regional or global sourcing strategies and practices for one or more commodities - Major commodity areas include: professional services, technology, marketing, property



Create and develop strong working relationships with key internal and external partners up to Executive levels to achieve sourcing objectives

Lead cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives from start to finish, including the competitive bidding process and contract negotiations

Drive innovation related to strategic sourcing and supplier relations

Possess and apply strong analytical skills (i.e. cost modeling, supplier selection) throughout the sourcing process.


Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business or a related technical field required

5 years relevant experience at a Fortune 500 organization; prior sourcing or consulting experience preferred

Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy

Ability to plan and prioritize workload

High-level understanding and application of financial and management accounting principles within purchasing

Strong negotiation skills applied in complex negotiations within the Purchasing cycle

Working knowledge of relevant sourcing platforms (Oracle, Ariba, etc) helpful

Demonstrable experience managing suppliers with pervasive relationships across many areas of a large organization a plus

Project management experience preferred
