Responsibilities

Analysis of mail flow and infrastructure utilization including the architecting of future upgrades and enhancements to accommodate improvements within the system. New messaging related applications testing and implementation. Generate and present utilization reports of entire email infrastructure including utilization rates, server performance, and trend analysis

Maintain documentation on all implemented, certified, and proposed email technologies.  Architect Citizens Bank’s messaging architecture for growth, enhancements, and or mergers and acquisitions.

Exchange 2003 / 2010 support with respect to routing, SMTP, administration, security and operations.

Office Communications 2007 support with respect to administration, security and operations.

Provide Tier 3 support for the Wintel Operations Team on a 24x7 basis. High level troubleshooting of previously implemented technologies from companies such as RightFAX, BlackBerry, Trend Scanmail and IronMail. Daily monitoring of the Exchange environment event & backup logs, working with  problem tickets and escalation to the appropriate individuals.

Monitors Net IQ, SCOM for alerts and status. Provides technical guidance to junior team members. Serves as a mentor to other team members.
 

Qualifications

8 years of MS Exchange 2003 / 2010, Anti-virus, spam filtering

4 years of Office Communications server 2007

Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills

Excellent networking fundamentals.

Knowledge of supporting Exchange Clusters and Clariion Back-end SAN Storage

Strong knowledge of DNS and mail routing protocols

The ability to work in a unique network environment. HP Proliant, SAN experience preferred.

Strong experience with Active Directory and LDAP in large-scale production deployments is important.

Low-level mail systems troubleshooting and Exchange 2003 / 2010 support skills are a must.

Performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and tuning skills are very important.

Advanced Knowledge of Exchange operations and administration.

Extensive knowledge of Outlook 97, 98, 2000, XP, 2003, 2007 and 2010 versions.

Excellent working knowledge of Windows 2000, 2003 and 2008 Server

Familiarity with 3rd party connectivity products.

Blackberry Enterprise and Good Link technologies

Email Compliance technologies

Email Archiving technologies

Outlook Web Access 2003 / 2010 knowledge (Front-end / backend) configurations

Excellent communication and technical skills required

RightFax, IronMail, Exchange 2003 / 2010, Legato, Backend SAN technologies are all pluses

Certification for 2003 / 2010 – Messaging Required

4+ years of Enterprise Exchange design

Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

Exposure to 3rd party Exchange applications a plus

Hours per Week:   40

Work Schedule:    Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
