<description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>The IT Security / Threat and Vulnerability team currently has an opportunity for an Information Security Engineer.  We are looking for a team oriented security generalist to support Line Management in the on-going development of an insider-threat program.  As a member of the IT Security team, you will be responsible for the review and evaluation of security-related events, as well as performing detailed analysis of trends, volumes, and other high-level metrics. Subject matter may include, but not be limited to: effectively learning and utilizing information security tools to conduct day-to-day tasks; reporting, monitoring, risk and response analysis; process and risk documentation; and working to ensure that security policies are met and procedures are implemented.<br/> The ideal candidate must be familiar with the major security organizations and be comfortable with conducting on-going research on best-practices and emerging threats in the field of insider threats; and have experience in drafting synopses and recommendations applicable to existing policies and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in managing or monitoring infrastructure technologies that support  a holistic multi-layered information security program.  Experience working with or for a Security Operations Center is also quite valuable. <br/> The position is required to perform work with a high level of accountability and confidentiality; however this position shoulders a core responsibility for completing day-to-day work and tasks as assigned in a timely manner.  The successful candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision once training is completed and objectives clearly outlined.  Must be able to produce results according to specific documentation and analysis guidelines provided by Team Leads. This position will require frequent communication with a number of internal partners to provide context to monitored activities.  The ability to perform high-level queries and similar data analysis functions using standard business software tools is necessary. <description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>A portfolio underwriter is responsible for the asset quality review, risk grading, and reporting on loans booked into the portfolio as well as the forensic review of portfolio mortgages and home equity facilities with losses and early defaults. The results of this reporting identify credit and operational risks and mitigate potential losses. The reporting is delivered to Credit Risk, line underwriting, and Credit Review.<br/><br/>The Portfolio Underwriter III has a high level of underwriting authority making critical decisions outside of credit policy, as well as decisions on loans of $1MM or more, and loans involving multiple transactions with other business units, while applying a deep analysis of credit factors in order to avert losses while balancing higher risk. The portfolio underwriter provides feedback and support for sales and line underwriting management on portfolio loan requests and problems with active loan requests which may involve unprecedented circumstances. <br/><br/>Qualifications <br/><br/>Extensive residential real estate portfolio lending experience with strong experience in analyzing personal and business cash flow and financial statements.<br><br/><br/>Existing knowledge of the real estate market in bank’s lending footprint.<br><br/><br/>Must be current with laws and regulations as well as industry best practices in order to meet and comply with all regulatory challenges.
