Maintaining a minimum 12 month forward looking event calendar. <br> <br> Perform DR analysis and provide guidance and direction to projects ensuring that new services and systems comply with the banks standards. Ensure that projects have developed business impact classifications and that the technology RTO and RPO comply with IT Continuity policy standards. Ensure that projects have the right Technology Services personnel engaged to successfully support the creation of a technology recovery plan. Ensure that projects are accelerated through the DR analysis, and any issues / exceptions are escalated as appropriate. <br> <br> Participate in the Technology Services Change Management control framework and ensure that changes submitted to be applied to systems and services are reflected in any required changes to the technology recovery plans. <br> <br> Produce reports on DR managed ‘events’ feeding the results back into the DR execution framework / baseline and escalating issues where appropriate. <br> <br> Facilitate the creation of the technology recovery plans for new services and systems and ensure that they adhere to the DR execution control framework standards. Facilitate the maintenance of the technology recovery plans as systems and services change and ensure that any significant changes get reflected in the DR ‘event’ calendar as required by the DR execution control framework standards and IT Continuity policy standards. <br> <br> Create and maintain a facility for the storage and retrieval of technology recovery plans in support of the availability requirements set forth by the DR execution control framework. <br> <br> Evaluate legacy systems and services and produce action plans for any identified DR ‘gap’ to bring them up to current internal and external DR requirements. Assist the Business in establishing any costs the close the identified ‘gaps’. <br> <br> Facilitate the review of the Data Center Disaster Recovery plan and ensure that changes are applied and maintained in good order. Be an active participant in the annual review of the Data Center Disaster Recovery plan and apply results back into the DR execution framework and escalate and issues where appropriate. <br> <br> Create, maintain, and control an environment that supports the ability to provide management reporting on the current state of DR readiness across all channels supported by Technology Services Americas. <br> <br> Create, maintain, control and report on the DR inventory (infrastructure and applications) necessary to ensure that all environments needed at time of disaster are accounted for and accountable for DR capabilities. <br> <br> Identify and communicate obstacles or limitations that prevent the Disaster Recovery Execution Team from supporting the enterprise with robust plans, ‘events’ and capabilities to show internal and external entities that the bank could recover if a disaster were to occur in the production data center. <br> <br> Create, maintain, and deliver Training and Awareness communications across the organization supporting the DRET work, deliverables, goals and objectives. <br> <br> Represent Service Delivery at internal or external forums as needed by building relationships with and establishing yourself as an SME on disaster recovery tools, techniques, and any related group policy standards. <br> <br> Represent Group Technology at a number of cross-divisional forums by building relationships with the cross-divisional areas and ensure compliance to our standards. <br> <br> Adherence to DR Execution governance for reporting within the program and knowledge of the entry points and critical milestones within the project lifecycle. <br> <br> Control and support guidelines on expenditures associated with the role and relay any variances to management prior to incurring the expense. <br> <br> Support all Global DRET initiatives as they are deployed regionally or globally. <br> <br> Represent the Technology Services Americas within all Global initiatives whether within the Global DRET organization or wider parts of the organization. <br> <br/><br/>Qualifications <br/><br/>10+ yrs. <description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>The Wire Transfer Associate III is responsible for the processing of Exceptions items routed systematically to queue for various reasons. The Wire Transfer Associate II also interacts with AML/OFAC to gather additional information on incoming payments that contain matches to the SDN/OFAC list. The Wire Transfer Associate III is also responsible for monitoring all sub-queues to ensure all payments are dispositioned in a timely manner. This role also monitors high profile/high risk payments to ensure their timely and accurate processing. The Wire Transfer Associate III also serves as an SME on end-to-end wire process. Key responsibilities include: ensuring that all payments creating a potential overdraft have received the appropriate and required overdraft authority before being released, sending authenticated messages to other financial institutions requesting additional information at the request of the AML/OFAC department as well as tracking all payment related correspondence to ensure accuracy, monitoring and processing various exceptions items and correctly dispositioning both incoming and outgoing payments that have stopped due to various defects such as routing, formatting and funding issues, interfacing with outside departments to expedite processing of high profile/ high risk payments.<br/><br> <br> <br> Ensures that all payments creating a potential overdraft have received the appropriate and required overdraft authority before being released. <br> <br> Sends authenticated messages to other financial institutions requesting additional information at the request of the AML/OFAC department as well as tracking all payments related correspondence to ensure accuracy. <br> <br> Responsible for monitoring and processing various exceptions items and correctly dispositioning both incoming and outgoing payments that have stopped due to various defects such as routing, formatting, and funding issues. <br> <br> nterface with outside departments to expedite processing of high profile/ high risk payments. <br> <br> Monitors exceptions printer to ensure payments are not canceled in error. <br> <br> Acts liaison with GOI in order to ensure end-to-end processing of all wire transactions. <br> <br> Act as touch point for other departments with escalated wire questions and issues. <br> <br> Brings down the wire system at the end of the business day and balances internal wire total count against totals at the Federal Reserve. <br> <br> Balances internal Wire Reject accounts. <br> <br> The Wire transfer department support 100% percent of all wire transfer for CFG. This position services both internal and external customers. External customers are usually high profile Cash Management customers or businesses requiring the utility of wire transfer to conduct business. Internal colleagues range from branch employees to senior executives sending wire transfers on behalf of customers or for the purpose of bank business. This position works closely with the AML area to ensure regulatory compliance and due diligence have been performed on all transactions processed through Wire Transfer.
