<title><![CDATA[Sourcing Group Manager MIB - (Stamford, Connecticut)]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>The Sourcing Group Manager - MIB is an experienced Procurement professional providing strategic sourcing expertise and guidance across multiple business lines. This role will incorporate a strong consultant oriented approach working with the business lines to deliver cost effective, efficient solutions to sourcing challenges.  Through engagement with business partners and a deep understanding of the market and commodities you are responsible for developing and delivering sourcing strategies that positively impact the business. <br/> Purpose of the role: <br/><br> <br> <br> Provide input to managed commodity strategies, delivering supply chain projects and managing key suppliers across RBS group. <br> <br> Support the development and implementation of category strategies for the areas under their direct control. <br> <br> Develop and implement a robust project based approach to ensure the pro-active management of contracts and projects ensuring the delivery of cost saving and revenue benefits <br> <br> Ensure that commercial agreements with third party suppliers mitigate both supply chain and contract risk.   <br> <br> Deliverables: <br/><br> <br> <br> Support delivery of sourcing benefits on approx. $200m of influenced spend across multiple commodities (wide range of commodities including Technology, Legal and Resourcing).  <br> <br> Develop and execute regional or global sourcing strategies and practices across managed commodities and work with colleagues in UK, Europe, India, and Asia as needed. <br> <br> Minimize commercial, legal and supply chain risk across all areas within remit. <br> <br> Use sound knowledge of commodities supply base to make suitable recommendations for a range of project specific requirements. <br> <br> Run e-sourcing events and demonstrate to business flexibility of e-sourcing approach. <br> <br> Support Supplier Management activities to deliver measurable ongoing benefits. <br> <br> Create and develop strong working relationships with key internal and external partners up to Executive levels to achieve sourcing objectives and be able to challenge business requests in line with demand management objectives. <br> <br> Drive innovation related to strategic sourcing and supplier relations <br> <br/><br/>Qualifications <br/><br/>A solid understanding of Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management approaches. <br> <br> Bachelor's degree in business or a related technical field required <br> <br> 5 years relevant experience at a Fortune 500 organization; prior sourcing or consulting experience preferred <br> <br> Ability to work under pressure with efficiency and accuracy <br> <br> Ability to plan and prioritize workload <br> <br> High-level understanding and application of financial and management accounting principles within purchasing <br> <br> Strong negotiation skills applied in complex negotiations within the Purchasing cycle <br> <br> Working knowledge of relevant sourcing platforms (Oracle, Ariba, etc) helpful <br> <br> Demonstrable experience managing suppliers with pervasive relationships across many areas of a large organization a plus <br> <br> Project management experience preferred <br> <br> THESE POSITION WILL BE LOCATED IN STAMFORD, CT<br/> It’s a unique time – having gone through an extraordinary period in our long history we are now delivering a renewed strategy. <title><![CDATA[Sourcing Group Manager MIB Risk &amp; P2P - (Stamford, Connecticut)]]></title>
<description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>This commercially experienced individual will provide a high level of supplier and internal quality and Risk assurance. The incumbent will work with the Business Units, Contract Management and Procurement Services in providing an independent assessment of Supply Chain compliance with current internal / external regulation.<br/> The role will focus on performing a cycle of both planned and reactive reviews to understand the existing level of compliance within the Supply Chain; subsequently seek to improve levels to stated regulatory / legislative levels, as well as look to develop broad levels of excellence.
