<description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/> This position will provide oversight and support to the Consumer Banking Division Business Lines.  The Compliance Manager II will support the development, execution and maintenance of the Risk Management framework. Will assist managers in institutionalizing operational, enterprise and regulatory risk management programs. This will include the implementation and maintenance of risk management framework that includes business unit requirement, effective internal control processes and self-monitoring practices, and the assessment, tracking and reporting issues. <description><![CDATA[Responsibilities <br/><br/>The incumbent will be working in the Consumer Loan Accounting department within the Consumer Finance Operations area of Business Services. Consumer Finance Operations supports the products of mortgages, consumer loans and credit cards. The department’s primary functions are to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information generated during the completion of general ledger accounting entries, reconciliations, management and regulatory reporting and production support. The department partners with other departments such as Corporate Accounting and Finance, Consumer Finance and other areas within Business Services.<br/><br/>The Accounting Manager III is responsible for the oversight of the pledging process, quality control function and various financial reporting. The incumbent sets priorities, monitors activities and ensures that the team has proper controls. Ensures adherence to Corporate Accounting standards builds strong partnerships with key stakeholders and participates in various project teams.<br/><br/>This position provides internal accounting control oversight over general ledger and financial reporting functions.  Ensure financial integrity of products and processes supported.  May ensure that all assigned account reconciliations are prepared by staff in a timely manner and are consistent with corporate policies.  Coordinate and control input to automated financial systems, databases or spreadsheets. Oversee complex or unusual transactions and propose corrections if necessary.   <br/><br/>May manage closing period process to ensure all material adjustments are recorded properly and consistently according to accounting principals and corporate policies.  Serve as primary contact for department initiatives.  Manage, direct and train more junior team members.   Coordinate and/or prepare complex financial and regulatory reporting.  Will lead special projects impacting the department.<br/><br/>Leadership Accountabilities: Business Management & Planning: Implement and deliver of business plans and targets.
